Historical Texts enables you to cross-search over 300,000 historical books published in English or in England before 1800 as well as 65,000 19th century books. It consists of the following collections: Early English Books Online (EEBO), Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO) and 19th Century books from the British Library collection.

John Johnson collection : an archive of printed ephemera

The John Johnson Collection is an archive of materials which document everyday life in Britain in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. The materials include facsimile images of posters, handbills, broadsides and pamphlets covering 19th century entertainment, the booktrade, popular topographical prints, advertising, crime, murders and executions.

JORUM user service (Learning object repository)

JORUM is an online repository service for teaching and support staff, helping to build a community for the sharing and reuse of learning and teaching materials. Staff can use the learning and teaching materials (which cover a range of subject areas) to enhance their students' learning experience. Materials range from single assets (documents, images, diagrams) to more comprehensive learning objects (interactive units and content packages).

We have access to the Arts & Sciences Collections I, II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII, Life Sciences Collection, and the Ireland Collection. Journals from a wide range of humanities, social sciences and science disciplines are included. There is also a selection of journals from ecology, zoology, botany, mathematics and statistics. Most journals do not give access to issues which are less than 3-5 years old.
